Heba Amin

Heba Amin is an Egyptian artist and scholar whose work in New Media seeks to map collective memory as it relates to the built environment. Her work addresses themes related to urban planning, mapping, technology and language as an aesthetic database to explore junctures, failures, and flawed memory. Her work has been exhibited worldwide. She received her MFA from the University of Minnesota and was a recent DAAD Scholar in Berlin. Amin currently teaches at the University of Applied Sciences, Berlin.
